I had not been involved in any real estate since I bought my home about 30 years ago. Eric always kept me up to date on what was going on and explained the process in a way I understood. My wife and I worked with Eric both to purchase our first home in 2019, and to sell that home when we moved out of state for my wife's grad school in fall of 2022. If we could have, we'd have taken him with us to buy our new house out of state (that said, he did talk to a few agents in our new area and gave us a recommendation, and he was spot on - our new agent has also been wonderful to work with!). Being first time home buyers, we were pretty nervous when we first started working with Eric. But he really quickly put us at ease. He sat with us and discussed both the overall process before we began, then made sure to walk us through every step of the way. His experience allowed him to talk through different situations we might see as buyers and then sellers, and to give us a lot of information which helped us feel comfortable making decisions throughout the process. We sold toward the end of the third year of the covid pandemic (a pretty unprecedented event in everyone's lives!). Eric obviously hadn't lived through something like that before, and he was very upfront about that and clear whenever he gave his opinion that it was an opinion and was based on his personal experience. We really valued his honesty and the integrity he brought to every interaction with us. We also found his advice really useful because of his careful consideration and his extensive experience in the field! We really can't recommend Eric enough as an agent. If you're looking for someone who'll take the time to get to know you and what you want, put as much time as you need into walking you through the process, and just really have your back through the whole thing, Eric's your guy.

We did the two difficult things at one time--buying and selling. This must be like juggling water. Eric's experience and knowledge in buying and selling helped us through the process. And when things became overwhelming his offer of "How may I help?" is sincere and honest. He helped us get a young person to rake leaves in our first home, while we were dealing with remodeling in our new home. When the previous owners left us with too much to do--Eric contacted the realtor for the seller and dealt with that issue as well as helping us get one project complete so we could simply --see out our windows! Eric has been my Realtor for over 20 years. In over 4 property transactions, there has never been a hick-up or problem associated with his work from start to finish. In speaking of "start to finish", I'm talking about from the time of initial contact to his attention to detail at the closing table and beyond. Whether I was buying or selling, I received input from him detailing possible problems, timing, the market, value/pricing of the property, etc. This input has been received throughout the entire timeline from listing (or offers in the case of a purchase) to closing. As I have pointed out, his excellence in execution can save his clients thousands of dollar as well as frustration and subsequent problems. In my mind, integrity is a very objective descriptor. Simply put, integrity is adherence to moral and ethical principles; soundness of moral character; honesty. These characteristics are vital in the real estate business. Eric became our realtor 22 years ago when he helped us purchase our first home. In the past 6 months he has helped us sell our home and purchase a new one. Over a 6 month period Eric and I looked at countless homes. One of the things that impressed me about Eric was his knowledge and experience. In each home we looked at he would explain things to me like the radon systems, sump pumps, age of HVAC systems and anything that I would need to know about the given neighborhood. He has very strong knowledge of Northern Colorado and the home buying process. He answered all of my questions with great detail. Eric is also a very honest person. If he felt the home we looked at might be a problem down the road in terms of resale potential he let us know. When we finally found the home we wanted to purchase he pointed out to us that the front of the house was north facing because he knew this was something we were concerned about. Eric was a tremendous asset throughout the home buying process. As someone who was (still is) new to this, it was nice to know that I had someone in my corner who had my back at every step of the way. I had a couple of deals fall through for one reason or another and it was nice to see that he genuinely cared as much as I did. His responses were always timely and thoughtful as well. As a first time home buyer, I know I had the proverbial "deer in the headlights" look more than just a few times. Eric thought nothing of it and took the time to explain what certain terms meant, things to look for that I easily bypassed the first couple of times when looking at a property, and answered all my questions no matter how insecure I felt about asking them.
