My wife and I worked with Eric both to purchase our first home in 2019, and to sell that home when we moved out of state for my wife's grad school in fall of 2022. If we could have, we'd have taken him with us to buy our new house out of state (that said, he did talk to a few agents in our new area and gave us a recommendation, and he was spot on - our new agent has also been wonderful to work with!). Being first time home buyers, we were pretty nervous when we first started working with Eric. But he really quickly put us at ease. He sat with us and discussed both the overall process before we began, then made sure to walk us through every step of the way. His experience allowed him to talk through different situations we might see as buyers and then sellers, and to give us a lot of information which helped us feel comfortable making decisions throughout the process. We sold toward the end of the third year of the covid pandemic (a pretty unprecedented event in everyone's lives!). Eric obviously hadn't lived through something like that before, and he was very upfront about that and clear whenever he gave his opinion that it was an opinion and was based on his personal experience. As someone who was (still is) new to this, it was nice to know that I had someone in my corner who had my back at every step of the way. I had a couple of deals fall through for one reason or another and it was nice to see that he genuinely cared as much as I did. His responses were always timely and thoughtful as well.
